Is the SC2 18-inch tall statue worth $249.99?

My opinion:
When i first read about it i was considering buying it until i saw the price on it, I expected it to be maybe 50 bucks, maybe even $75, and i was willing to pay for it, maybe even as high as 150 bucks, but dam 250 bucks  I can see that only true SC fans will buy it it now.

WTF a 18in. statue that does nothing for $250? Not worth it. I can use that $250 for better stuff

Look at it this way.

You have $250 dollors.  There are plenty of things you can get with that amount of money, including a Wii, and maybe a fun night with some lady friends.    I would rather have that stuff then a freaking statue worth smurf.

From the point of view of a broke college student, there are very few things worth $250, and that statue is certainly not one of them.

Hello hello. It's what's left of me anyway. I quit bnet and lost/sold all my CD-Keys. Been enjoying life in the real world too much. If you think about it its not that that far away from each other. What I mean is unless you going out with a slut or a rich girl, your going to have to buy her some breakfast, lunch, dinner, tickets to movies, amusement parks, stuff at mall, carnival, all the dam stuff she thinks is cute and wants or needs it, b-day gifts, x-mas gifts, valentines gift, flowers, jewelry, oh and not to mention all that gas money to take her to places and such. While your not paying to her directly for some action, you were still using money to buy her stuff before you get some action, actually you'll be buying more stuff if you plan on getting more sex.

When I made the post they were not sold out, but now they are. Point is I should have probably bought one just to sell it later in a few years, and make some money. I remember back when PS2 or Xbox first came out, can't remember anyway my friend bought a few of them and since they were sold out in stores, people were selling them on ebay and such for twice or 3 times as much and higher. Only reason I remember this is cuz he made a few grand on ebay by selling them for far more than what he bought for.

Love isn't all about the money either.

I would definitely not get that statuette thing. It doesn't look that cool; I would have preferred a solid deep metallic color that's not too shiny. I wouldn't have spent that much money on it either way.

Love isnt supposed to be about money but if you've ever seen "Pursuit of Happiness" its very tough to love someone when you cant even pay rent.  but not to get off topic. i would've spent the money on pot or something.. i could use some pot money

It could put your relationship through hardships but in my opinion true love, the rare kind that is not around much today, is independent of money and materialism. Unless it's a gambling problem or something like that, it shouldn't kill the relationship like it did in that movie; she didn't really love him anymore.
