Wont let me connnect to USEast.

So i just bought my 7th copy of SC and it wont let me connect to us east.
us west works fine.
not east though

Double post!
So it would appear im ip banned somehow.
Im not to sure on how to change my ip, so ill just say what i know.
Control panel>Internet connections> Properties>Internet protocol>properties>change ip.
Now ive done that but i cant get any ip to work(not even my old one) the only way it will work is if i select it auto.

IP ban only last for 5-10 minutes lol. dont bother changing it.

still wont let me in, 3 hours later =P
i havent logged on bnet in a year and a half.
i ran bnetdiagtool and it said i was ipbanned.
so.
i need to change teh ip.

That's the temporary one that you get for spamming and such. A permanent IP  ban can only be passed by getting a new IP from your ISP; some people get a new one once every two months, it all depends on your ISP.

Battle.net doesn't have any permanent IP bans - not even when a Blizzard/Battle.net rep manually IP bans you is it permanent. Unless you're using CHAT, they will void, mute, or ban your cd key, not IP ban - primary reason that they disabled CHAT from joining public channels back in '02.

Flooding chat will get you disconnected. If you reconnect and continue to flood, you're very likely to trigger the packet flood protection.

Packet flooding will get you IP banned for five minutes, I believe. If you trigger the packet flood protection more than X number of times in Y amount of time, you'll get an IP ban that last for Z amount of time. I've only set that one off once, and I don't remember what X Y and Z are. :)

Sending malformed packets will get you IP banned for five days. It's possible for a Blizzard/Battle.net rep to manually IP ban you for longer (I'm not sure what the limit is, but it's definitely finite).

yea i talked to a rep and he just said for me to wait two weeks, and if im still ipbanned talk to him.

Log out, create a new account, log back in, and talk to him again; tell him you've been banned for 3 weeks.

Camel's absolutely right. The longest I've been IP banned was a week and a half.

It sucks, but I'd say thats the most severe one.
