The current council consists of:

Sorceress
Camel
John
-------------
We need people that are actively around and able to make decisions, but are willing to help to enforce the rules and principles of the clan.

If you know a member that should be considered for council, you may nominate them here IN this thread as a reply. Give a paragraph or so of why they should be nominated.

In 5 days from today, the existing council members will vote on who is placed into the council and who is not. Drama, was always a huge problem in the clan. It needs to stop. This is going to be one of the several issues council members will need to be ready to address.

So let us know who you think would make a good council member.

(Start: 7/22/2007 11 PM EST) (End: 7/27/2007 11 PM EST)

So wait, fant isn't currently on the council?

PS: It would help if we had a current members list, and a list of people eligible for council.

Nope, This was a complete re-start of the clan. The old rank structure technically has no merit, although we still recognize contributions and obviously older ranks, the council is about activity, not necessarily rank.

The council should consist of active persons that are gaming. Fantasma is definately a good member, but hes not active right now.

31-35 is the council; has been that way as long as we've used the current rank system - that doesn't mean it can't change, but that's another topic entirely.


That said, I nominate Fanatacist and Judge. They're both among our most active members, and since I dont think John or Sorc are going to vote against either of them, I'm done giving reasons.

Then are you confused? Fanat's rank is 30, which is not council - same deal with Judge.

They've each been on the council before, so they already know what's going to be expected of them.

They've been around for damn near forever, so we probably won't have to worry about them splitting off and starting the next lost warriors.

Whenever I've had a disagreement with Fanatacist in the past, it's always resolved peacefully. He's willing to compromise*, keeps a level head, and presents his point of view clearly - a quality that's required of a leader, and I don't just mean the clan rank, but someone that people will listen to.

I could go on, but I've got to pick up my friend at the airport.

According to the bot, Fan is a leader. He has also got ops in the channel. He's barely ever around, though.

Fantasma, and Adam (who just came back) are currently honorary leadership. Since they've proven they can do ops related things in the past, they're given that rank they had previously. Which means by #'s, they should be both 35 or 36, I don't think there are command differences beetween the two, but I'm usually wrong since I didn't write the bot. :-P

i think im more active then judge. but idk he could be on when im not. but i hardly ever see him on when im on
