Is Iraq really that boring?
It's like saying, "Hello, my name is Camel and I don't know what I'm talking about."

In all truth and fairness, before I comment no I have not been to Iraq, or in a combat zone. But just because they are in Iraq does not mean they will not be given some free time to themselves. With that being said, it all depends on the soldiers job ((MOS) basically what they were trained to do) and the unit they are. I heard stories, again stories of people doing constant work for days on end without have any free time, at the same time I heard stories of people who did nothing all day, never left the green zone let alone their room, and pretty much played PS2, xbox all day. Of course the majority never got to just sit around and do nothing, obviously they would have to do some work and even for the ones that did nothing, it didn't last long.
