War3 Warden....

So apparently battle.net activated Warden on Warcraft III. This means that most bots using Warcraft III will get disconnected within 2 minutes after connection.

What does this mean for BNU? well as of right now most of us still are connected, and unless we get disconnected, we won't lose that. But if it comes down to it, I will load a War2 account, and we'll just keep that as main ops, and utilize the bot on that account. It will suck, but its doable.

For now, that is all. Users of BNU`Bot should understand that Camel hasn't bypassed Warden on War3, or the new SC version of warden yet, and therefore neither will function for longer than 2 minutes. Keep your bots on if they are still on, cause otherwise they WILL DC!

I can also run the actual war3 client too if need be. although i dont really see the point in that. i also have a w2 key and 2 d2 keys if needed.

I found it funny how they release this new warden and 2 days later it has already been bypassed. Also from what I know they did this to stop all the hosting bots that are currently auto hosting games but, it seems they too have also bypassed warden in approx 4 days. SO the question is was there even a point to any of this? I think they should let clans use some kind of moderation bot.

I've been suggesting for years to create a "Moderation Client" for Blizzard specifically, something that doesn't actually run as a bot, but Blizzard hosts, and is controllable only by set people. This would help to protect clan channels and eliminate moderation bots entirely as far as need.
