TBR 2.0 (release date)

New Date Sunday, May 17th
New Website: http://theblackroad.net/forums/ (site is/was down)

"After a discussion with FT, the Coders, and the testers, it is with regret that we must inform you we're pushing the release back at least 1 week.
This means the current (still tenative) release date will be Saturday, May 16th.
While we understand your dismay and boredom, there is nothing we can do. The map is not ready, and we are not ready to finalize and ship it out yet.
Please bear with us, and refrain from playing any leaked maps.
As you should be aware at this point, playing leaked versions will result in a permanent ban with no chance for appeals. So don't do it.
Thanks for your cooperation,

So after that let down lets start up those of us who can and play this map and OWN! it  8)

Release will be today at noon EST in channel CLAN TBR on Us East. I know it will be mass hysteria so if you can't get in the channel just be patient. I'm working on getting the map up on our partner sites (epicwars and wc3c) but not sure how long it will take them to get them in place.

A couple of things to consider before you play:

1) If you are Red player, and you are loading a hero... be patient. Let the map LOAD, and let the intro screen FADE and THEN load. If not, you'll fatal error the game."

HF i'm currently a level 65 temple guardian. avenger says you're an amazon, since he played with you yesterday. I also have a level 20 javelineer that wouldn't load... so who knows haha.

Its like and RPG map (if you played the first TBR map stop reading here) Otherwise its a map set in the mythological era of Athens (area) and you choose from I think like 10+ types of warriors and go about lvling up and killing the "Gods" but so farm its like damn near impossible to kill them in this map :D and that's a ruff synopsis of it.

Haha basically. You level up your hero and you can save your character and load it the next game. In the first one characters could go to level 200, now they only go to 150. The second TBR is much more team oriented than the first. In the first you could basically solo a lot of the bosses and everything, whereas you need a group (a diverse group too), to kill the titans in the second one, mainly because of the regen that they have. There is also a lot more thought that needs to be put into this one because you cant just stack all your points into agility/strength/intelligence to beef up your character. In fact, strength heroes dont even exist anymore because they were imba. There are still tank heroes, but they are agility-bases, but you still put points into strength. This is because they are not supposed to be DPS, but rather able to take a lot of damage while someone else dishes out the damage.

Sooooo yeah, haha. Just try it out :P

I have a good reference on this go on youtube and search like "25 man naxx" and watch the vids its like that. The bosses are uber like 50k+ HP and well they don't take 20+min to kill but some of them probably going to be at least 5-10 in TBR ^.-  my pally is lvl 60 now gonna get some tier 2 or 3 armor now :D
