Jonny has a good point, RD, you shouldn't shoot it down. In Germany they have the Autobahn, which has unrestricted speeding, but the crash rate is lower than moderated American highways. In Italy there is practically no drinking age, but there is a lower level of alcoholism than in America. This is because America, like you said, doesn't have it, so they would be crazed about it. But that's also the reason why we don't have it; the American public is too conservative or not ready to lower the drinking age or raise the speed limits, which in turn causes excess drinking when kids turn 21 and can drink legally for the first time. That's because they were never exposed to it, never grew up with it, and were unable to mature to the concept of alcohol.
