Instal Trouble

Well since I decided to come back to BNU, I've been craving to get back to battle net again.  Since D2 was always my better game, I decided to reinstall it.  D2 installed just fine, but LoD is giving me trouble.  It asked me to put in the D2 play cd. I do that, it installs a couple files, then stops.  It then asks me to put in my D2 play cd again, yet its already in there.  I'm sure my anti virus program isn't blocking it. Wtf am I doing wrong?

Probably nothing. Sounds more like an issue with the CD itself.

So use the relatively new battle.net account thing and download the installer that way. That's kind of the whole point of it - not to use the CD for anything.

What is this relativly new battle.net thing which you speak of!? I must google!

::EDIT:: Holy smurf.  Blizzard just took my excitement for the new Battle.net and tripled it with this account thing.  I'm downloading DII right now.

Heh, that bnet account works great. I have all my games registered on there. Best part is, when you register SC, D2, they generate new keys. So now you have 2 sc keys.. :-P Use the new one for gaming, the old one for a bot. :-D
