Well to get this forum up and lively, this will be the The Official Thread about Nothing.

Talk, complain, cry, moan, mention etc, about whatever you want to.

Not so long ago, Hurricane Irene struck the northeast. For those of you that watched the Weather Channel, you could have sworn the Armageddon was coming. Living in Jersey some places got hit hard, I myself was activated from the National Guard and went cruzing through northern Jersey.

I learned some places have tornado sirens, not fun getting woken up by them 

After it passed Jersey my town and home were fine, the towns around me not so much, though I recall Hurricane Floyd was worse, but Irene was 2nd best.
What really annoyed me was this video that made news, newspapers, local news, I even saw it on CNN

This happen in Manville, NJ. It is literally a mile from my house on the town next over. Its the fact that these guys are in the same National Guard as I am. Definitely they are not from my battalion, sadly probably in the same brigade. It just makes everyone in uniform look bad. 

This past summer, think the only movies I enjoyed was Captain America: The First Avenger, and X-Men: First Class everything was a waste of money, yes especially Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

The Upside: Volunteering for a EMT Rescue Squad

Didn't get smurf where I was in NH. Some rain and light winds was about it.

So.... its Autumn......

Anyway, taking a semester course so I can qualify to take the state exam to become a EMT

I get a stethoscope, and blood pressure cuff. It's fun giving your friends a free medical check

The ladies also seem to like it so no complaints

Haha yeah I have both of those things too because I was originally studying to be an athletic trainer. Hardly ever use them now but it doesn't hurt to have them.

Woot XMas has just passed, New Year to come... I'm still waiting for snow in my home state of Jersey

I'm looking forward to the NHL Winter Classic, though my team isn't play its still great to watch a outdoor hockey game.
